Intrum Justitia a acquis son premier portefeuille de créances en France
Intrum Justitia has purchased its first debt portfolio in France, with a principal value of 60 million euro. The portfolio is a distressed bank loan portfolio consisting of about 500 loans mainly from private entrepreneurs."Intrum Justitia focuses on Receivables Management Services (RMS), spanning a broad range of services that includes debt collection and purchased debt," said Mr Peter Sjunnesson, CEO for Intrum Justitia. "With operations in 20 European countries and debt portfolios in 12, we have good experience in evaluating and collecting distressed debt."
"The purchasing of debt portfolios is an alternative to debt surveillance," explained Kari Kyllönen, Group Purchased Debt Director. "By selling a debt portfolio to a third party, the client can reduce cash-flow uncertainties more quickly."
